Penguin Surf Life Saving Club is located at Preservation Bay in the North-West of Tasmania.

Founded in 1931, the club was initially located on Main Beach in Penguin, however the club relocated to Preservation Bay in 1979 with completion of the clubhouse, bar and function room finalised in 1987.

Penguin Surf Life Saving Club is run by volunteers, patrolling Preservation Bay with the red and yellow flags up every Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday from December to March.

The clubhouse provides a valued space within the community, and has multiple spaces to hire. The club has a successful nippers program, surf sports sessions and supports multiple community based initiatives. Starfish Nippers, Silver Salties, Man Up Tasmania and Surf Life Saving Australia courses are all run through Penguin Surf Lifesaving Club.
